Los Angeles County is the largest, most diverse county in the United States. With 88 cities bearing a total population of over 10 million people, there is no end to the number of people waiting to be reached.
Many of these people are fascinated by Jesus, but are less than enthusiastic about organized religion - after all, who can blame them?
The current generation of young people are not spiritually apathetic or unreachable; to the contrary we are spiritually hungry and ready to meet Jesus - we just don't want to meet him in "church."
Where do we need to meet Jesus, if not in "church"? In the places where Jesus would hang out in today's culture: in coffee shops, in bars, at music venues, on the streets.
ReGeneration Church is therefore seeking to rethink church in a postmodern context in order to provide a relevant experience for the emerging generation.
Mission
On a practical level, our mission is to realize our vision by providing an authentic worship experience for the largely unreached emerging generation, by nuturing and leading Christ-centered "clusters" (or house-churches...or bar churches... or coffee shop churches...) throughout the Los Angeles area, and working alongside both local and global churches to continue to reach people for God's Kingdom.
