Practically, the idea is to create a community that is highly relational in nature. We desire to foster genuine relationships within our community by meeting together throughout the week, either in clusters or simply being intentional about hanging out. We want clusters to plant clusters, larger gatherings (worship, dinner, etc) to plant larger gatherings, and ReGens to plant ReGens. The hope is to have ReGeneration in four major cities by 2015 (yikes!).
ReGeneration seeks to glorify Jesus Christ by fulfilling through God's grace the two parts of the Great Commission - evangelizing the lost and discipling the found - by preaching the gospel, meeting both physical and spiritual needs, and creating a relevant avenue for evangelism, worship and community in a post-modern context.
We seek to regenerate the church in our society as a group of people who love Jesus and desire to live out his teachings in our lives, rather than as a set of rules and regulations set forth by a social institution.
We desire to extend God's unconditional grace to the world around us, and exhibit a deep love for God and God's creation.
